Architect/Director of Graphics

Architect and Director of Graphics Scott Vlotho brings design excellence through both his education and work history. As a LEED® Accredited Professional he provides a resource for sustainable design practices, and continues to be involved in environmentally conscious projects, including vegetative (e.g. “green”) waterproofing and roof systems and photovoltaic and solar equipped roof systems. While often specializing in cladding and curtain wall system projects, Mr. Vlotho also maintains close and active involvement with BET&R's architectural design, detailing, and monitoring of roofing and below-grade and above-grade waterproofing projects.

Mr. Vlotho's extensive experience in design includes a Masters of Architecture from the University of Washington, preparation of design and construction drawings including isometric rendered details, and creation and coordination of construction documents and project manuals. Scott is also an integral part of BET&R's design team, providing analysis and recommendations to other architects and designers regarding all aspects of the exterior envelope. In addition to architectural design duties, Mr. Vlotho participates actively in on-site moisture intrusion investigations, application monitoring, and other survey work. He is a Licensed Architect in the State of Washington.
