BET&R's technical staff are often involved in research and technical projects which result in technical manuals, technical bulletins, research papers, or technical articles. Among completed research projects for which BET&R has delivered papers are the Midwest Roofing Contractors' Association Roof Coatings Analysis, Western States Roofing Contractors' Association's (WSRCA's) Polyisocyanurate Rigid Insulation Study in conjunction with Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and WSRCA's TPO Roof Testing and Research Project in conjunction with the National Research Council of Canada. BET&R is currently working with WSRCA's Waterproofing Committee in authoring the industry standard-setting Principals of a Successful Waterproofing Project. BET&R staff have also contributed numerous articles to Voices of the West and Professional Roofing magazines.
