Completed in 2002, the Seattle University Student Center is a campus focal point and gathering place for both resident and commuter students, consisting of a three story curtainwall, CMU, brick, brick, and stone clad structure housing offices, meeting space, and food service areas. BET&R was engaged during the schematic design phase for the project and provided assistance with product and systems selection, design review services, preparation of detail drawings for complex transitions, and application monitoring of the roofing, waterproofing, cladding, and fenestration installation during the construction process. BET&Rís monitoring services for the project also included watertesting of the windows, curtainwall, and other cladding components.
