During a full building envelope and pre-retrofit design survey on this large government facility built in the late 1980's, BET&R conducted suspended descents using bosun's chair equipment. The objective of these suspended drops was twofold: First to make, examine, and repair test openings in the exterior EIFS cladding, thus saving the costs of retaining a contractor and swing stage; and second to survey difficult to reach sections of the exterior cladding and windows.
